Film Series
The German Department is presenting a film-series every quarter according to a theme developed by the department. Films are usually shown every second Tuesday at 6 p.m. For locations and exact times see upcoming events.
Guest Lecture Series
Once a quarter, the department is hosting a noon lecture for students and faculty on a current topic. For guest lecture announcements (topics, locations and times) see upcoming events.
Skit Evening (Spring Quarter)
Students in first-year and second-year German perform their best skits for other students and faculty.
Fall Welcome Ceremony (Beginning of Fall Quarter)
The department hosts a German PicNic in the Fall to welcome back our students and to introduce Freshmen to faculty and students in the German department.
Spring Awards Ceremony (End of Spring Quarter)
The department hosts a German Barbeque in the Spring to celebrate the end of the school year and to honor the accomplishments of all students and faculty.
Reception for Graduating Majors/Minors and their families (End of spring Quarter)
A good-by celebration for our Majors and Minors and their families.
