Sean Gordon

Sean Gordon is a PhD student in the program of German Literature and Critical Thought. He received his BA in Linguistics and German Studies from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 2020. His research interests include the aesthetics of Wagnerei and the Gesamtkunstwerk as well as the philological underpinnings of Wagner’s libretti; translation of texts from the Goethezeit into modern English; the German cult of genius; and Hegel’s aesthetics.
