Making a Gift

Thank you for considering a gift to Northwestern University's Department of German. Your contributions help us support our educational efforts. We are especially pleased to let you know that we have set up a Scholarship for Study Abroad Fund.

We want to encourage Northwestern students to take advantage of opportunity for study and internship in German-speaking countries. Studying and working abroad can be among the most important and exciting dimensions of any student’s undergraduate education. Unfortunately, study abroad often involves additional expenses, which discourage otherwise well-prepared and eager students from participating in the beneficial programs. The German Department has thus established a Scholarship Fund for the purpose of providing assistance with the additional expenses in the hope and expectation that such a fund will allow students to take advantage of the extraordinary opportunities that await Northwestern students abroad.

Since the online giving site is University-wide, we ask that you remember to designate your gift to the Department of German, Study Abroad Fund.

Giving Options

• You can submit an online gift. Since the online giving site is University-wide, we ask that you remember to designate your gift under "other" to the Department of German, Study Abroad Fund.
